He was predeceased by: his parents, Callie Freeman and Bernice Freeman; his son Brian Freeman; and his siblings, Tommy Freeman, Jimmy Freeman and Shirley Boyer.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Freeman; his children, Alan Freeman (Beth) of Mint Hill, NC and Monica Phillips (Ian) of Wendell, NC; his grandchildren, James Freeman and Natalie Freeman; his sister Carol Boyer; and his family Lilesville.
