Carol leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Carol’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Schooley and Agnes Schooley of West Liberty, Iowa.; her husband Paul; and her daughter Karen. She is survived by: her children, Diane Hardy (Dale), Brian Brenneman (Vicki) and Don Brenneman (Angie). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McEwen Funeral Service Inc. (10500 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28210). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
