He was predeceased by: his mother Christa B Atkins; and his brothers, Archie Atkins and George Atkins. He is survived by: his sister Annetta Alderman; his nephews, Michael Alderman of Charlotte, NC, Reginald Alderman of Atlanta, GA and John Burns; his niece Kisha Atkins of Fayetteville, NC; and his friends, Larry and Cheryl Watts.
