She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Thomas and Wilma Little Thomas; her husband Billy Parks Carpenter; her daughter Marsha Burch (Richard); and her siblings, Alif Preslar (James), Edwin Neal Thomas and Kermit Wilson Thomas.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Wesley Burch (Kelly) and Rachel Burch; her sister Geraldine Haigler (Everette); and her sister-in-law Joan Thomas.
