“Chandos became my boyfriend in 2002. I left in December of 2004, 3 days before New Year's Day. In learning of his passing I felt surprised and unbelief. However, mostly I had and still have a hope that the man he was when I knew him died before the man he was when he passed. I forgive you C.J. I need you to know that. May you rest in heaven. Sincerely.”
