He is survived by: his wife Zolene Brown Kale; his nieces and nephews, Jana Brown of Hickory, Hanah Brown Santos of Claremont, Rita Kale of Lake Norman, Rodney Kale of Lake Norman and Mark Kale of Lake Norman; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Rockett of Hickory, Linda Brown of Claremont and Elsie Kale.
