It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Jonathan Cathey of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on May 20, 2023, at the age of 41, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Haley Coryn Cathey and Charles Jacob Cathey; his parents, Clarence Jerome "Jerry" Cathey of Cornelius, NC and Helen Marie Cathey-Badger of Mint Hill, NC; his father-in-law David Alan Badger; and his siblings, Chelsea Joanna Cathey and Cameron James Cathey.
