He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Charles Louis Perrotta and Antionette Camuso Perrotta; his wife Marlene; his brother Dennis Perrotta (Barbara); his niece Gina; his children, Suzanne Patton (Jim), Diana Rockefeller (Doug), Charlie (Helen) and Rebecca Parks; his grandchildren, Christopher Patton (Katie), Brian Patton (Megan), Jacquelyn Patton (Tyler), Andrew Rockefeller (Emilie), Nick Rockefeller (Erin), John Rockefeller, Brittany Covington, Ben Perrotta (Destiny), Diana Perrotta, Amber Parks, Josh Parks (Amber), Seth Parks and Angelica Stublaski; and his great grandchildren, Emory, Evelyn Patton, Paige, Camryn Patton, Eric Covington and Jacey Byrd.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Luke Catholic Church (9800 Fairview Rd, Charlotte, NC 28227). A committal service was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Morning Star Lutheran Chapel (12900 Idlewild Rd, Matthews, NC 28105).
