He was predeceased by: his parents, Parks Alonzo Yandle and Martha Leila Snyder Yandle. He is survived by: his wife Ann Hinson Yandle; his daughters, Sharon Russell (Jeff) and Pamela Lickliter (Joel); his grandsons, Matthew Russell, Benjamin Russell (Alyson), Cameron Lickliter (Melinda) and Aaron Lickliter; and his great grandchildren, Truman Lickliter and Juliette Lickliter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Mt. Harmony Baptist Church.
