It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Edith Terry of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Halifax, Virginia, who passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kent Terry and Eliza Terry; and her sisters, Mary Friday, Teresa Jenkins and Myrtle Walters.
She is survived by: her son Tommy Lea Terry, Sr. of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Tommy Terry, Jr., Mitzie Terry and Erica Simmons; her great grandchildren, Miaia, Autumn and James; her sister Helen Terry of Mt. Vernon, NY; and her sibling's children, Juanita Bowers, Rachael Walters, Lisa Jenkins, Amedia White, Felicia Oliver, Claunisha Walters, John Jenkins, Michael Walter and Dion Terry.
