It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claude Jeffrey of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on March 23, 2026, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother John Young, III. He is survived by: his parents, Dr. John Young and Peggy Young of Charlotte; his children, Emily Young and Dallas Young (Rachel); his grandchildren, Nora and Parker; his sister Ann Megan Balk (Chum); and his nieces and nephews, Anne Maxwell Douglass (Chris), Lucy Douglass Kelly (John), Edo Douglass (Elizabeth) and Margaret Douglass. He is also survived by his family, his many friends.
