He was predeceased by: his sister Sandra Miller; and his grandson Brendon Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Jennifer Hilliard, Beth Nevil, Windy Abernethy and Charles Taylor; and his grandchildren, Jamison Hilliard, Emily Nevil, Andrew Nevil, Bryant Abernethy, Heather Lawson, Cateland Abernethy and Zachary Taylor. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
