She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Joel Newsom, Sr. and Faye Upright Newsom; her husband Danny Ray Carroll, Sr.; and her siblings, Floyd Joel Newsom, Jr. and Teresa Newsom Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Ray Carroll, Jr. (Kimberly), Crystal Carroll Dunn and Shannon Gail Carroll; her grandchildren, Kaylee, Nick, Noah, Faith, Paige and Chris; and her sister Cathy Burleson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn West Cemetery (4601 Freedom Dr, Charlotte, NC 28208).
