He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Smith and Nita Smith. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer; his children, Zachary (Nicole), Hailey Johnson (Bryan) and Sarah (EJ); his grandchildren, Hannah, Thomas and Clara Johnson; his brother Kyle (Kim); his sibling's children, Taylor Hood (Chris) and Blaine (Bri); and his great-nephew Orion.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Third Presbyterian Church (4019 Central Ave, Charlotte, NC 28205). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the church.
