She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Tibor and Edith Tibor. She is survived by: her brother Peter; her former husband Morton Shapiro; her husband Robert Rieke; her children, Julie and Sam; her daughter-in-law Amy Burris Shapiro; her granddaughter Nora Shapiro; her stepson Peter Rieke (Tonya); her siblings-in-law, Suzan Tibor and Jay Shapiro; her niece Heleen Grossman (Steve); her nephews, Michael Tibor and Mark Tibor (Allyson); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Aaron, Rachel and Jordan; and her friend Rona Nikolovienis.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Levine Jewish Community Center at Gorelick Hall (5007 Providence Rd #102, Charlotte, NC 28226).
