He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lester Hudson and Annie Prue Moss Hudson; and his siblings, Nancy Foster, Joe Elmore Hudson, Earl Deese, Grace Rogers, Margaret Robbins of Carl Deese, O. J and Betty Jo Hughes.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen O'Connor Hudson of Charlotte; his children, Mary Elizabeth Husak (Mike) of Charlotte, Joseph Dallas Hudson of Greenville, SC and Kathleen Ann Llewellyn (Robert) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Sean Michael Husak, Maya Grace Llewellyn and Patrick Joseph Husak; his aunt Peggy Hill of Charlotte; and his siblings-in-law, Pat O'Connor of Jackson, NJ, Mike O'Connor of Mooresville, Judy O'Connor of Merritt Island, FL, Sherrie O'Connor of Mooresville and Nancy Hudson of Charlotte. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be directed to the Veterans Relief Fund via VFW Post 1160, 2831.
