He was predeceased by: his parents, Nufrie Medvid and Iris Hallam Medvid. He is survived by: his wife Julia Medvid; his children, Sophia Medvid (Duncan Farquhar), Andrew Medvid and Ronna Emerling (David Monts); and his granddaughter Sylvie Emerling.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A prayer was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Thomas-Little Funeral Service Inc.- Oakdale (5000 Noblestown Rd, Oakdale, PA 15071). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church (730 Washington Ave, Carnegie, PA 15106).
