It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Arthur Holmes of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on November 22, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Holmes and Rose Holmes; his wife Rebecca Holmes; his brothers, Charles and John Holmes; and his grandson Joshua Woodward.

He is survived by: his former wife Roberta Ann Bagby; his daughters, Lori Woodward and Karin Burnette; his grandchildren, Reilly, Alex Burleson, Hannah Bodemann, Randy Woodward, Sharon Shomo, Karla Woodward, Olivia Myers, Jason and Benjamin Beaver; his pet Percy; his nephews, Danny, Steven and David Holmes; and his sister-in-law Mary-Lou. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
