He is survived by: his wife Linda Gathings; his children, Catherine Heather Navarro (Sandro), David Shane Gathings (Sarah) and Chad Gathings (Katie); his grandchildren, Lindsay Navarro, Desiree Rodriguez (José), Kayla Gathings and Haley Gathings; and his great grandchildren, Benny and Nora Rodriguez.
