He is survived by: his wife Jane Manchester Hoyle of Charlotte; his children, Martha Hoyle Jobe of Jamestown, NC and David William Hoyle III of Salisbury, NC; his grandchildren, Brian Thomas Jobe of Charlotte, NC and Catherine Elizabeth Jobe of Charlotte, NC; and his brother Walter Edward Hoyle (Dawn) of Hampstead, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
