It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Lorne Weaver of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on October 22, 2021, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Lee Weaver Sr. and Vernie Lee Smith Weaver; his nephew Carlos Ramon Weaver; and his brother-in-law Frank A. Phelps. He is survived by: his children, Asha Zakeya Dillingham of Granite Falls, Kyshell Geter of Hickory, Jaden Weaver of Newton and Deagen Weaver of Maiden; his grandchildren, Liam Bywaters and Skylar Garland; and his siblings, Audrey Phelps of Lincolnton, Nanette W. Moss (Roosevelt) of Sherrills Ford, Tonya W. Connor (Keith) of Conover, Aisha W. Rendleman (Dennis) of Vale, Howard Weaver, Carlos Weaver and Rodney Weaver Fiancee.
