He is survived by: his siblings, Viola Aiken of Due West, Wallace Brownlee of Asheville, Rayona Allen of Phenix City, Alabama, John Brownlee of Edneyville, Thomasina Brownlee of Asheville and Shirley Johnson of Asheville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
