She was predeceased by: her parents, Weaver Walker and Helen Walker. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Sparks; her children, Susan Sparks, Brad Sparks (Krista) and Shannon Wesley (Mike); her grandchildren, Andrew, Owen, Ava Belle, Aiden, Alex and Victoria; and her sister Judy Pardue (Dickie).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bible Baptist Church (2724 Margaret Wallace Rd, Matthews, NC 28105). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105, or Charlotte Rescue Mission, 915 West 1st Street, Charlotte, North Carolina 28202.
