It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Ruth Watson Tant of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cola Ion Watson and Nelia Dare Campen Watson; her husband Larry Clifton Tant; and her siblings, Clevis Watson, Lois Ballance, Alice Lewis and Paul Watson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Tomlinson (Philip), Robin Manka (Tony) and Kristina Simms (Ben); her sisters, Ban O'Neal and Wanda Rhodes (Ken); her grandchildren, John Tomlinson, Meredith Mende, Mitch Mende, Zachary Simms (Chelsea) and Clifton Simms (Kayla); and her great grandchildren, Giovanni, Jasper, Silas, Maverick and Blair. She is also survived by 4 nephews and 5 nieces.
