It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Gilbert of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on March 18, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris Gilbert to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Elmore Jacobs and Fannie Bell Jacobs; her husband Harold Dean Gilbert; and her siblings, Barbara Graham, JoAnne Hilewitz and Jim Jacobs (Jake).

She is survived by: her sons, Jef Crisco and Myron Crisco; her stepdaughter Cindy Gilbert; her sister Jane Allen; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Aaron, Joseph, Annie, Jacob, John and Dyon; and her great grandchildren, Weston, Emory, Kayson, Cora, Taylor and Drevin.
