She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Virgil Carlson and Vera Carlson; her daughter Jerri Ann Doss Helms (Kerry) of Belmont, N. C.; her daughter-in-law Lisa Doss of Carmel, Ind.; her grandchildren, Daniel Helms of Oates, S. C., Dr. Tori Doss (Ryan Walker) of Indianapolis, John Doss of Indianapolis, David Doss and Minn; her siblings, John Carlson (Marilyn) of Atlantic Beach, Fla. and Marilyn Lentz of Indianola, Iowa.; her husband Dr. Jerome F. Doss; and her son Paul Doss.
She was in assisted living when the pandemic lockdown hit, and had to face the death of her only son during that time in 2020.
