In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Douglas Austin leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Douglas Austin may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his wife Hannah; his son Bo (Robert Pelham Parker); his parents, Mike Parker and Karen Parker; his brother Justin Parker; and his grandparents, Jean Parker, Clair and Carole Lawton. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Great Hall of the Church. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sovereign Grace Presbyterian Church (3326 Archdale Dr, Charlotte, NC 28210).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Doug's memory may be made to Sovereign Grace Presbyterian Church, 3326 Archdale Drive, Charlotte, NC 28210, attention to the Mercy Ministry Fund.
