He was predeceased by: his significant other Charlotte Shafer Bowers; his parents, Ralph Bowers and Mary Evelyn McDevitt Bowers; and his siblings, Shirley Eader, Ruthann Bowers, Barbara Bowers and Mark Bowers.
He is survived by: his brother Harold (Buzz); his nieces, Teresa Mongold (Doug), Andrea Lewis (Ron) and Christine Bowers; his nephew Michael Bowers (Laura Haselbarth); and his grandchildren, Christiana Martin and Andrew Lewis. He is also survived by married.
