We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2020, at the age of 83, Edward Simon Baum (Charlotte, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Ann; and his children, David (Julie), Daniel (Abigail), Jacqueline Peterson (Tad), Gabrielle Kramer (Martin) and Mark (Kristi). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.

“I was a cancer patient of Dr Baum’s as a 12 year old (I am now 52 years old). Dr Baum was such a compassionate person to not just me, his patient, but to all of my family as we all went thru that difficult time. He gave us hope, care and love every step of the way through those years he took care of me. It saddens me that Dr Baum is no longer here on earth with us, however I know he is absolutely at peace knowing that he did God’s wonderful work his entire time here on earth. Thank you Dr Baum!”
