With sadness, we share the passing of Eileen G. Blanchette of Charlotte, North Carolina. Eileen, born on May 31, 1929, passed away on June 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Fairburn and Mary Agatha Fairburn (Hines); her husband Edgar "Buddy" Blanchette; her son Daniel Blanchette; her brothers, John (Mildred), William (Peggy) and Richard (Delores); her brother-in-law Joseph (Nancy); and her son-in-law David Farrell.
She is survived by: her children, Frances Farrell of Chapel Hill, Paul (Kate) of Mint Hill, Eileen Coffman (CD) and Mark Coffman of Norfolk, Virginia.; her grandchildren, Adam, Tess Blanchette, Brian Blanchette, Mary Beth Coffman, Cassidy Coffman (Spencer Smiley) and Matthew Coffman; her foster daughter Betti Bell; her caregiver Anna Young; and her son Mauricio West. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
