It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth E Locklare of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elizabeth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Dudley Cecil; and her cousin T. E. Atkinson (Mike). She was also cherished by spouses, children and grandchildren, plus her church family.
Memorials may be made to her church, Novant Homecare Hospice, Charlotte Rescue Mission, or to a charity of one's choice.
