She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Osborn Snite and Elizabeth Georgiana Pierce; and her grandson Jacob West Summers, IV. She is survived by: her husband Robert Alson Edgerton; her daughter Elizabeth Edgerton Summers (West) of Columbia; her grandson Dr. Robert Pierce Summers (Shauna) of Augusta; and her daughter Holly Edgerton McCollum (Craig) of New Orleans.
