She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Roberts and Plina Roberts of Galax. She is survived by: her sister Mary Roberts; and her children, Frank R. Vass III of Lexington, Kentucky, Janet V. Sarjeant of Charlotte and Thomas D. Vass of Charlotte.
