She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Brooks; her grandchildren, Stephawn Brooks of Houston Texas, Emya Brooks and Essence Frazier of Charlotte, NC; her siblings, Lawrence Brooks Jr. (Loretta) of West Virginia, Robert Brooks, David Brooks of Charlotte, NC, Dorothy Siler, Arleen Brooks of Charlotte, NC, Trina Brown of Houston, TX, Constance James (Edward) of Winston Salem, NC and Joyce Astin (Ted) of Stone Mountain, GA; and also Aniyah Brooks of Houston, TX. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
