Esther Stewart Obituary

We bid farewell to Esther Stewart of Charlotte, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 18, 2025 at the age of 90. Esther touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Albert Suddreth and Lula Mae Moore Suddreth; her husband John Tillman "Johnny" Stewart; her siblings, Mattie G. Suddreth, Willie S. House, W. Clarence "Buster" Suddreth and Alfred G. "Red" Suddreth; and her cousin Margaret S. Padgett.

She is survived by: her son Chris Stewart (Paulette) of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Jared Stewart of Charlotte, Grady Stewart (Casey) of Athens, GA and Claire Raiford (Jarret) of Huntersville; and her great grandchild Laney Ruth Raiford of Huntersville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many cousins and friends.
