He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hogg and Ollie Mae Hogg; his brother Edward; his sister-in-law Joyce Hogg; his brother Donald Hogg; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Mittlesteadt and Larry (Joyce Boomershine).
He is survived by: his wife Marion L. Hogg (Boomershine); his sister Carolyn Mittlesteadt of Brookville, Ohio; his daughters, Belinda Ellis of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Bonita; his son-in-law Perry Somers of Indian Trail; his children, Bettina Miller of Woodstock, Georgia and Brent; his daughter-in-law Laura Hogg of Fridley, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Rowan, Lindsey, Morgan, Tyler, Casey, Matthew, Savannah, Conner and Griffin; and his great grandchildren, Zoe, Will, Greyson, Camila and Vanessa. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Providence Meadows (4123 Kuykendall Rd, Charlotte, NC 28270).
