We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2021, at the age of 81, Eugene Jeffrey Zhiss of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Zhiss and Lillian Groden Zhiss. He is survived by: his wife Geri Zhiss; his sons, Ron Zhiss (Melissa), Mike Zhiss (Tracy) and Peter Zhiss (Laura); his grandchildren, Parker, Connor, Maeli, Ella, Maxwell, Benjamin and Samuel; his sister Sherry; and his brother-in-law Lee Kleinman.

Due to COVID-19 protocols, the funeral will be private but will stream live on the Facebook page of the Hebrew Cemetery Association of Charlotte at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, April 13th, 2021.
