She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Phifer Nisbet and Mary McLure Nisbet; her husband James J. White III; her sister Mary Purvis; her granddaughter Amanda Graham Stephany; and her son-in-law Bill Palmer.
She is survived by: her children, Genie Graham (Terry), Henrietta Palmer, Lucy Moore Butler (Dean), Jimmy White (Anne) and Mary Dorris (Duncan); and her sister Elizabeth Martin. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Covenant Presbyterian Church (1000 E Morehead St, Charlotte, NC 28204).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church, Wing Haven, or a charity of the donor's choice.
