He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Clarence Atwell, Sr. and Tilda Ellen Short Atwell; his siblings, Anna Mabeline Adair, Henry Howard Atwell and Emma Kay Sale; his wife Janet Roberts Atwell; his children, Everett Ray Atwell Jr., James Lewis Atwell (Karrie LeGrand Atwell), Janette Atwell Bridenstine (Will Bridenstine) and Steven Michael Atwell; his grandchildren, Alyssa Ashley Reukauf, Stephen Dalton Atwell, Dennis Michael Atwell, Aidan Jonathan Bridenstine, Claire Faith Bridenstine and Nolan Caleb Bridenstine; and his great grandchild Salem Reukauf.
