With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fletcher Whitfield McNeil (Charlotte, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 8, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fletcher Copeland McNeil and Clarence Franklin McNeil; and her sister Nancy Gwyn. She is survived by: her children, Neil Caudle (Mary Jane Nirdlinger) of Pittsboro and Patricia Hunter of Matthews; her granddaughter Caitlin Caudle of Charlotte; her children, David Caudle (Jessica) of Traverse City, MI, Retta Hunter (Adams) of Charlotte and Mac Hunter (Nikki) of Charlotte; her stepgrandchildren, Win and Talia Felgenhauer; her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Hunter, Teagan, Deacon, Haven, Savayah, Holden and Cece; and her nephew Chuck Carson (Angelica).
