He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Morris Pinckney and Caroline Walker Pinckney; and his daughter Elizabeth Barnes Pinckney. He is survived by: his wife Diana Brown; his children, Francis Morris Pinckney III (Helen Connell Pinckney) and Milby Burton Pinckney; his nieces, Louise Courts (Andy) and Caroline Laney (Roy); his nephew Cooper Smith, Jr.; and his cousins, Tom and Carol Pinckney.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Francis may be made to the Crisis Assistance Ministry or the Charlotte Humane Society.
