He was predeceased by: his parents, Carolyn Jane Earhart Alexander and Douglas "Doug" W. Alexander; his wife Pamela Adams Alexander; and his parents-in-law, Melvin Ray Adams and Linda Nan Manaugh Adams.
He is survived by: his children, Adam Alexander (Audra) of Concord and Arin Alexander Lancaster (Tim) of Zionsville, Indiana; his grandchildren, Hayden, Makenzie, Kyla, Ivey and Kade; his siblings, Larry Wayne Alexander (Deborah) of Lexington, David Alexander (Karen) of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Kimberly Jane Alexander Humphrey of Kent, Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, Johanna "Jodi" Yocum (Duke) of Hanover, Laura Chitwood (Mark Johnson) of Hanover, Michael Adams (Donna) of Noblesville, Julie Shepherd (Denny) of Lexington and Melinda "Mendi" Garrett of Madison, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
