He is survived by: his wife Lucinda Huneycutt; his children, Eric (Heather) and Lisa; his grandchildren, Noah Cameron (Hallie), Trey, Isaac, Lucas, Abigail and Hannah; his sister Linda Cole (Robert); and his nephew Darren.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Providence Baptist Church (4921 Randolph Rd, Charlotte, NC 28211). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Sharon Memorial Park (5716 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28212). A reception will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the McEwen Funeral Home (5716 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28212).
