It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Ernest DiGregorio Jr. of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though George may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Sue DiGregorio of Charlotte, NC; and his children, Anne Noell (Scott Noell) of China, Grove, Anthony DiGregorio (Jennifer DiGregorio) of Mooresville and Christina DiGregorio (Andrew Urbanek) of Wolcott. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
