He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine Gabriel Jackson and George W. Henderson Sr.; his stepfather George Washington Jackson; his grandparents, Garland Gabriel and Bessie Pharr Gabriel; his granddaughter Chelsea Symone Moore; and his brothers, Richard Jackson, Larry Jackson and Severn Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, Nathan Austin of Charlotte, Armard Moore of Mooresville, Felise Gabriel, Marlo Gabriel of Charlotte and Shaniekia Moore of Huntersville; his grandchildren, Kelsey Johnson of Maryland, Alexis Galmon of Charlotte and Olivia Moore; his brother Steven Jackson of Tempe; his close friend Linda Withers; his cousins, Loretta Wilson (Raymond), Wilhelmena McClinton, Bessie Mills (Donald), Luvadah Barrino (Jonah), Mynnie Pryor (Chauncie), Marian Henderson, Elnora Henderson, Earnest Gabriel, James M. Henderson, Alvin O. Henderson, John W. Henderson, DeFoster Henderson and Hearsey Lassiter; his close friend James Campbell; and his buddies, Bobby Sloan and Earnest Pharr. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
