He was predeceased by: his parents, June Lewis and George Lewis Sr.; his brother Jack Lewis; his stepson Bill Holland; and his stepgrandson Jonathan Christopher Holland.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Dennis Lewis (Diana) of Bluff City, TN and Belinda Lewis of Bristol, TN.; his stepchildren, Jym Holland (Vicki), Bob Holland (Denise), Andy Holland (Cathy) and Donna Branham (Henry); and his daughter-in-law Judy Rice. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harris Hospice at Presbyterian Novant, Charlotte NC.
