She is survived by: her mother Irma Lenora English Gooden; her husband Howard "Sonny" Stephens; her children, Gwen Hoefle (Steve) and David Stephens (Kim); her grandchildren, Jerome Singleton (Ashley), Megan Stephens (Erin), Patrick Singleton (Kellie Howell), Tyler Hoefle and Caleb Stephens; and her siblings, Juanita Girardeau and Ronnie Gooden. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
