It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gordon Raymond Hinesley (Charlotte, North Carolina), born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on October 9, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Robin Hinesley. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Kist Hinesley; and his children, Shawn Cross, Marc Hinesley, Courtney Hinesley Baker, Kendall Hinesley Datseris and Kelly Hinesley Flowe. He is also survived by six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Gordon, his son Robin Hinesley, and his brother-in-law, Rod Kist.
