He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Hunter Jones and Verna Savage Jones; his daughter-in-law Kim Jones; and his siblings, Garland Jones, Jr., Kenneth Jones and Betty Warren.
He is survived by: his wife Billie Jones; his children, Scott Jones of Monticello and Leslie Gaylord (Scott) of Weddington; his granddaughters, Ashley Gaylord of New York and Michelle Ohmstede (John) of Dallas, Texas; and his daughter Martha Jones of High Point. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Family Home.
