She was predeceased by: her parents, Eula (Walter Massey) and Hattie. She is survived by: her daughter Sheliah Fleming Love; her granddaughters, Hatiya Dunlap, Liah Love Carvalho and Tisarah McGowan; and her great grandchildren, Madison Dunlap, Leila Carvalho and Kaleo Carvalho.
The lying in state will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Intergenerational Center (3301 Beatties Ford Rd, Charlotte, NC 28216). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the Oaklawn Cemetery (1615 Oaklawn Ave, Charlotte, NC 28216).
